Building the capability of elected members

A tailored one and a half day forum to build governance capability within your council.  This forum will be designed exclusively for your council.  Focus can be on newly elected members, the entire governance body, or a mix of both.

This interactive forum is focused on building the capability of your elected members whether they are new to the role, or a mix of re-elected and new.  This forum can be adapted to become a development planning or scene-setting opportunity for the triennium.

  • oversight, strategy, policies, planning, the long game (“look high, look long”)
  • stakeholder relationships, iwi and the Treaty

This unique forum offers value and flexibility and will include take-home resources that can be tailored for ongoing professional development within each attendee’s council.
